And Alexander, who would make the move across London to the New Den in the summer, would also help Orient complete the League double over his future employers with another strike in a 5-2 win in the corresponding fixture last season.

This however followed an awful October where they failed to win a game, picking up only two points in the process. They currently sit a respectable 11th in League One.

Prior to that they drew 1-1 against Walsall and beat Luton and Hartlepool 3-1 and 2-1 respectively.

LAST TIME AT BRISBANE ROAD: Leyton Orient 2 Bristol Rovers 3 (League Two 03-09-05) HEAD-TO-HEAD: Orient 32 wins, Bristol Rovers 41 wins and 26 draws. The last time the two sides met in the FA Cup was in a fourth round tie in 1999, when Rovers secured a 3-0 home win. The O's also lost out 1-0 to the Gas in the competition in 1952 after the original tie had finished 1-1 at Brisbane Road, although prior to that the east Londoners secured a 1-0 FA Cup win in 1930.

After this string of results Paul Sturrock's newly promoted Swindon have dropped to 11th in League One. Only two sides have scored more at home though, while the defence has leaked just six at the County Ground.
