TERRY'S TALK: Hopefully our new hobby will hook us some good O's results

WE were all really disappointed on Saturday against Peterborough because it was our second bad performance in a week.

After the defeat at Ipswich in the Cup we were looking to get back on track, but after a fairly promising opening 20 minutes it just didn’t happen for us.

The most disappointing thing for us was that we struggled to create much and in the end Peterborough went onto win the game easily.

The gaffer certainly wasn’t happy afterwards and you can't blame him because, along with Smudge, he goes through what he wants us to do all week and it just didn’t get taken onto the pitch on Saturday.

We’ve got to trust what they are telling us to do before games and hopefully put it into action out there now.

There is a really tough game coming up for us against Carlisle on Saturday and we know if we don't perform they will punish us, because they are a good side who’ve made an excellent start to the season.

But we have got to look to build on the win we got at home against Hereford, because we need to make Brisbane Road a fortress this season.

The home form was the one thing we talked about a lot last year, as it cost us at times and I would even say if we’d got it right at our place we would have still probably been in the top six at the end of the campaign.

Finally myself and young Jason have taken up fishing as a way of relaxing off the pitch, although some of the lads are struggling to get their heads around our new hobby.

Boydy, for one, has said he would rather poke himself in the eye with a pin than come with us, although I'm sure I will get him involved before the end of the season.

As I say though it is a great way to relax off the pitch, especially for Jason as he never seems to catch anything unlike me!
