A TEENAGER from Walthamstow has appeared in court to deny stabbing a man through the heart outside McDonald's in Oxford Street.

Anthony Costa, 19, of Gainsford Road, pleaded not guilty to murder when he appeared at the Old Bailey today.

Steven Bigby, 22, from Hackney, was knifed outside a McDonald's restaurant in broad daylight on a Monday afternoon in May following a row in which a drink was thrown.

Costa, wearing a dark blue Nike top, beard and a large afro hairstyle, was remanded in custody to face trial on November 10.
